Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 août 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what data Vidlogi collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data. By using the Platform, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Data Controller
Vidlogi is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. For privacy questions or data requests, contact support@vidlogi.com.
2. Data We Collect
We may collect account data such as your name, email address, profile image, hashed password for email login, OAuth provider identifiers, account creation date, and account role.
We may also collect billing data, generation data, prompts, selected models, settings, output URLs, usage signals, support messages, marketing preferences, IP address, browser or device details, referral source, and related security or error events.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or the UK, we process personal data on legal bases that can include performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations.
Examples include:
- performance of a contract to create and manage your account, process payments, and deliver generated content
- legitimate interests to prevent fraud, maintain platform security, and improve the service
- consent for non-essential analytics, experiments, and marketing communications where required
- legal obligations to retain billing and tax records where law requires it
4. How We Use Your Data
We use data to:
- provide, operate, secure, and improve the Platform
- process payments and manage credit balances
- send transactional emails such as receipts, verification emails, and password resets
- send product updates or onboarding messages where you have not opted out
- detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security incidents
- comply with law, enforce our Terms, and respond to lawful requests
- display public generations only after administrative approval
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data with third-party providers only when needed to operate the service. These providers can include hosting and infrastructure vendors, database and storage providers, authentication providers, payment processors, email delivery services, analytics providers, and AI generation or media-processing providers such as the configured providers that receive prompts, uploads, settings, or related inputs to produce outputs.
Each provider is subject to its own privacy terms. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. International Data Transfers
Some providers used by Vidlogi are based in the United States or other countries outside the EEA or the UK. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential technologies required for login, security, and core platform operation. We may also use analytics or experimentation technologies after consent where required.
In practice this means:
- essential session and security technologies stay active so the Platform can function
- non-essential analytics, marketing, or experimentation technologies are activated only after consent where applicable
- you can clear browser storage or site data controls to withdraw consent or reset preferences
8. Data Retention
We keep account, profile, prompt, settings, and generated-media data while your account remains active. Support, security, and billing records may be retained for longer where needed for operations, law, tax, fraud prevention, disputes, or audits.
Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion as part of normal backup rotation.
If you want deletion, send a request to support@vidlogi.com and include:
- the email address on your account
- a clear request to delete the account and associated active data
- enough information for us to verify ownership when necessary
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to certain processing, request portability, withdraw consent for consent-based processing, and opt out of marketing emails.
To exercise these rights, contact support@vidlogi.com. If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe your rights were not handled correctly, you may also complain to your local data protection authority. In the EU, information about authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.
10. California Residents (CCPA)
California residents may have rights to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and exercise related privacy rights under applicable law.
Vidlogi does not sell personal information to third parties and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
11. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls, and service-level safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
12. Children
The Platform is not intended for users under 18. If you believe a minor created an account, contact support@vidlogi.com so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after updates means you accept the revised policy.
14. Contact
For privacy-related questions, access requests, correction requests, deletion requests, or other data concerns, contact support@vidlogi.com.
Review the Terms of Service for user obligations and platform restrictions.
